For help with Peel, email support@taxlite.net. Include a short description of what happened and your device and iOS version. Do not send your Apple Account password or payment card details.

Capturing and handwriting

Choose Capture or From Photos from the Add menu. Good lighting, less glare, and space between paper notes can improve detection. You can adjust a missed note's outline. Handwriting recognition runs on your device, and you can correct the text afterward.

Old board archives

Choose Import Old Boards and select a previously exported .postit file or a folder of archives from Files. Preview is free; Peel Pro is required to save the imported board. Some files may not import perfectly, so keep the original and check the preview. Peel cannot retrieve another app's cloud account data.

iCloud sync

Peel shows iCloud status in Settings. Sync requires an Apple Account with iCloud available for the app. If sync is unavailable, Peel keeps working with local storage. CloudKit can take time to finish syncing across devices.

Optional saved capture coordinates and place descriptions can also sync with board data through the user's private iCloud database.

Optional capture location

Save Capture Location is off by default in Settings. When enabled, Peel requests When In Use location access for camera capture. A new camera capture can save coordinates if a location is available; scanning works if you decline. You can enter a place description or remove the saved location from the capture later.

Each export starts with Include Capture Locations off. Turn it on for a PDF, PowerPoint, or Excel export if you want saved coordinates and place descriptions included. Other export formats omit them.

Purchases and subscriptions

Open Peel Settings and choose Restore Purchases if a purchase is missing. Manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple Account settings. Apple handles charges and refund requests. The paywall shows the current local price and renewal terms before purchase.

Privacy

Note detection and handwriting recognition run on device. Saved boards can sync through your private Apple iCloud database. Read the Privacy Policy for the full explanation.
