This policy explains how QR Barcode Scanner Reader handles information in the app and on this website. You do not need to create an app account.

Camera, photos, and generated codes

Camera frames and selected photos are processed for code recognition. Generated code content, scan history, favorites, and preferences are kept in the app unless you choose to share or export them.

Pro iCloud Sync

When Pro access is confirmed after purchase, restore, or launch, the app automatically attempts a one-time migration of scan history and favorites to an Apple CloudKit-backed store. An iCloud sign-in is needed for cross-device syncing. Free-tier scan records remain in a local store.

Optional destination access

Saving a contact, adding a calendar event, joining Wi-Fi, saving a generated image, or opening a link invokes the relevant iOS permission or destination service. That action may share code content with that destination.

Apple purchases

Apple processes the one-time Pro purchase through StoreKit.

If you email nz.jiangzq@gmail.com, we receive the message and details you choose to send so we can answer. Please avoid sending sensitive content or account credentials.

Website access

Opening these pages sends ordinary request information, such as an IP address and browser details, to the website host. The site does not ask you to sign in.

Your choices

You can change app permissions in iOS Settings, remove local app data by deleting the app, and manage optional Apple services in your device settings. Deleting local data may not delete copies already shared, exported, backed up, or synced through Apple services.
