Select an image to detect a code without using the live camera.

History and favorites

Return to recent results, export history, and keep Pro history and favorites in sync through iCloud after Pro is unlocked.

How it works

  1. Point or pickUse the camera or choose a photo containing a code.
  2. Inspect the resultRead its content and review the destination before acting.
  3. Choose an actionOpen a link or use a supported action such as Wi-Fi, contact, or calendar only when you trust the code.
QR codes can contain unsafe links, contact data, or network details. A warning is a prompt to inspect the content, not a guarantee of safety. Opening a link or sharing a code uses the chosen destination service.

Questions people ask

What works for free?

Live scanning and basic URL/text code creation are available without Pro. Photo scans and retained history have free limits; the app shows them in context.

Is Pro recurring?

Pro is a one-time in-app purchase, with its current local price shown by Apple.

Does scanning use iCloud?

Free scanning stays local. When Pro is unlocked or restored, the app automatically migrates history and favorites to an iCloud-backed store; syncing across devices requires an iCloud account.

What happens when I open a scanned URL?

The app hands the URL to your browser. Review the address and any warning first; the destination site has its own privacy practices.
