Overview

This policy describes how TileCount handles information in the iOS app and on this website.

Information you keep in the app

Project and room dimensions, tile and price settings, selected project photos, scan-derived measurements, and preferences are stored by the app.

Permissions and device features

The optional LiDAR room scan uses the camera on compatible devices. Selected project photos are accessed with Apple’s photo picker.

iCloud and Apple services

iCloud sync starts on. When available, Apple CloudKit can sync supported project records through your private iCloud account. Turn off iCloud Sync in TileCount Settings to stop this device syncing after the next app launch. Turning it off does not remove copies already in iCloud.

Apple processes in-app purchases and entitlement checks. Apple may also handle device backups according to your settings.

Sharing and support

When you export or share a file, the copy is handled by the destination you choose. When you visit this website, the hosting provider receives ordinary request data such as your IP address and browser information. If you email support, the email service receives your address, message, and any material you choose to send so we can reply. Please omit payment card details and Apple account credentials.

Advertising and analytics

The reviewed app build has no advertising or third-party analytics SDK. The app does not use cross-app tracking. This description does not cover Apple services, sites you choose to open, or destinations you share to.

Your choices

You can delete app data through the app where available or by removing the app. To stop future iCloud syncing, turn off iCloud Sync in TileCount Settings; the change takes effect on next launch and existing iCloud records are not deleted. Manage remaining cloud data through your Apple account. Contact support about information sent by email.
