Overview

This policy describes how ShingleKit handles information in the iOS app and on this website.

Information you keep in the app

Saved roof jobs, dimensions, prices, notes, selected job photos, company profile and logo, and preferences are stored on the device.

Permissions and device features

The optional pitch meter uses motion sensors. Adding a job photo or logo uses Apple’s photo picker; the app does not need broad photo-library access for that selection.

iCloud and Apple services

ShingleKit has no app account or app-managed cloud sync in the reviewed build. Device backups and purchase services are controlled by Apple.

Apple processes in-app purchases and entitlement checks. Apple may also handle device backups according to your settings.

Sharing and support

When you export or share a file, the copy is handled by the destination you choose. When you visit this website, the hosting provider receives ordinary request data such as your IP address and browser information. If you email support, the email service receives your address, message, and any material you choose to send so we can reply. Please omit payment card details and Apple account credentials.

Advertising and analytics

The reviewed app build has no advertising or third-party analytics SDK. The app does not use cross-app tracking. This description does not cover Apple services, sites you choose to open, or destinations you share to.

Your choices

You can delete app data through the app where available or by removing the app. Apple device backups may retain data according to your settings. Contact support about information sent by email.
